Dans une démarche axée sur le modelage, Eunjung Lee développe des pièces qui conservent des traces de la vie qui nous entoure. Elle réalise de nombreuses recherches de glaçures à base de matériaux locaux glanés lors de promenades, comme des cendres, des argiles, des granites, du talc. Elle multiplie aussi les tentatives d’ensauvagement de la terre, en y incluant des fragments de schiste ou de roches ferrugineuses rencontrés dans les montagnes. Chaque pièce exprime une variation de caractère, gage d’une attention particulière à la richesse des impuretés naturellement présentes dans les matières glanées
